Official Launch of the eHealth4ChildTB Project in Côte d’Ivoire

On 20 January 2026, the eHealth4ChildTB project was officially launched in Côte d’Ivoire, marking the start of its activities in Agboville.

This launch marks the beginning of the project’s implementation in Côte d’Ivoire, ahead of a user training session and the gradual introduction of Treatment Decision Algorithms (TDAs) and digital tools within decentralized health services.

The launch ceremony was held in the presence of the project teams, as well as numerous institutional representatives and local authorities, including:

• ✔️ the Deputy Coordinating Director of the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (PNLT),
• ✔️ the Vice-President of the Agnéby-Tiassa Regional Council,
• ✔️ the Prefect of the Agnéby-Tiassa Region and Prefect of Agboville,
• ✔️ the Deputy Mayor of Agboville,
• ✔️ the Regional Director of Health of Agboville,
• ✔️ as well as the Sub-Prefect of Aboudé-Mandéké,

As part of its implementation, eHealth4ChildTB will deploy several digital solutions, including:

• ✔️ a clinical decision support application,
• ✔️ AI-assisted interpretation solutions for chest X-rays,
• ✔️ an electronic medical record system,
• ✔️ supervision and mentorship tools.

alongside community leaders involved in the local implementation of the project.

This official launch represents a key milestone for the coordinated implementation of the project, in alignment with national and local public health priorities.
