World TB Day 2025

The new project eHealth4ChildTB, implemented in Côte d’Ivoire & Mozambique, aims to strengthen children’s access to Tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis and treatment through decentralized National TB Program (NTP) services to healthcare facilities at district and primary healthcare level that are strengthened by the development and implementation of innovative digital tools.

eHealth4ChildTB will develop and integrate innovative digital tools, such as electronic medical records connected to DHIS2, clinical decision support systems, digital tools for support supervision and clinical mentoring by NTP teams, and Computer-aided-Detection for chest X-ray interpretation to strengthen TB management.

These tools are specifically designed to support the implementation of Treatment Decision Algorithms (TDAs) for childhood TB diagnosis.
